During her time in Virginia, she broadcasted hurricanes, the military, elections, and court cases. She received an Emmy in 2022 for her broadcast of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Before WAVY, she worked in Panama City Beach, Florida at WJHG as a reporter.

While there, she broadcasted various issues counting the significance of the panhandle in the 2016 presidential election. For her breaking news broadcast of Hurricane Irma, she attained a number of Associated Press awards.

Her career began in 2014 when she worked for FOX News in New York City. After completing her collegiate studies, she worked for Gretchen Carlson as an intern before accepting full-time employment on the Fox Business program “The Independents” which later changed into “Kennedy.”
