Molko works for KGW as an evening anchor, investigative reporter, and international correspondent, he joined the station in January 2022. Before joining the station he was a senior reporter at CTV News.

David Molko is a journalist, television news anchor, and correspondent who has won five Emmy Awards. He has more than 15 years of expertise in local, national, and international reporting.

The capacity to make every narrative memorable has set self-described adventurer and global citizen Molko apart from the competition. He has reported from more than a dozen nations.

After nearly ten years of living and working abroad, he joined KGW. Most recently, he was a Senior Reporter for CTV News in Vancouver, Canada.

For his investigation of the owner of an unlicensed daycare where a 16-month-old boy died, Molko was given a regional Edward R. Murrow award.

He was able to secure a number of exclusive interviews with the boy’s parents, which led to changes in laws that affected millions of families by increasing transparency and enforcing the law on childcare providers.

For CNN, Molko has produced more than a dozen half-hour news and feature specials on the ground. These include Christiane Amanpour-hosted documentaries A Nuclear Iran: The Expert Intel and Future Cities: Singapore, Innovative Cities, On China, Talk Asia, and CNN Business Traveller episodes in China and the Philippines.

After serving as a Senior Producer at CNN International’s Atlanta headquarters for five years, he relocated to Asia. During that time, he produced live news programs, breaking news, and news specials that were viewed by hundreds of millions of viewers in more than 150 different countries.

In New York, Molko also produced and wrote for WCBS-TV and WNYW-TV. He started out in journalism as a researcher for MSNBC.
