She began working for CNBC as a general assignment correspondent in May 2006, and in 2007, she relocated to Los Angeles to cover media. She also contributes to the “TechCheck” series on CNBC. Boorstin provides reporting, analysis, and interviews for the network while focusing on the interface of media and technology and technological innovation.
She is the author of the best-selling book about female leaders, “WHEN WOMEN LEAD: What They Achieve, Why They Succeed, and How We Can Learn From Them,” which Simon & Schuster’s Avid Reader Press released in October 2022. The CNBC Disruptor 50 is an annual list that Boorstin developed and debuted in 2013. It features private enterprises that are reshaping the economy and taking on big companies in various areas.
Additionally, she covered “Stay Tuned: The Future of TV,” a documentary about the state of television, for the network.
