Before that, she worked for KTVI-TV in St. Louis and WMBD-TV in Peoria, Illinois as a reporter. She reported for WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, where she received an Emmy and Associated Press Award for her “Tornado Survival” report in 1997.
