Bureau. Moreover, she served the AAA Columbus Clippers as a Guardians Baseball Insider and a sports reporter.

Thompson works as a reporter for Live 5 News. She loves the Lowcountry for its colorful houses and the cobblestone streets, which give a European feel to its architecture. Furthermore, she loves the delicious food, hidden gems, coffee shops, and the beautiful nature, which she enjoys while on a walk.
Before joining Live 5 News, Thompson had multiple opportunities that sharpened her journalism skills while still in college. Her most interesting work is when she went to an upcoming beer-spa business opening in rural southeast Ohio, where they use herbs used in making beer, along with antioxidants, which promote a relaxing yet European feel.
Thompson’s passion for journalism began in high school, where she joined the school’s TV program, “Lincoln Live,” in her junior year. There, she learned everything that entails journalism. She believes that news is all about writing topics that are easy to understand when spoken out loud, visuals that attract, and should have an impact on the audience.
