Rowe launched her career in the news industry in 2011, working behind the scenes in production. In this capacity, she gained several skills, including computer graphics, camera, and JIB operator, prompter, and floor director during live news/sports coverage for DFW CBS11 and TXA21.
In 2016, Rowe began working on screen while in college as the nightly weather anchor for NTTV. She also worked as a noon news anchor for NTTV, a weather anchor for Let’s Talk North Texas, and an anchor for the City of Denton’s TV Station DTV.
Rowe relocated to Alexandria, Louisiana, in 2018 as a morning and noon meteorologist for KALB, the local NBC station. She developed the notion of sharing daily local pet pictures for the “Dog on Weather.” She serves as a member of numerous honor societies, including Phi Theta Kappa.
During her career, Rowe has earned several awards, including an Associated Press Second Place Award for Best Weather Anchor & Best Morning Show winner in 2018, and for Best Weather Team Coverage. “Alexandria’s December Tornado” in 2019.
The Louisiana Association of Broadcasters granted Rowe their Prestige Award for Best Weathercast Small Market & Best Morning Show in 2020 and Best Weather Team Coverage of Hurricane Laura in 2021. In 2017, she earned a Lone Star Emmy for Best College Talent Nominee & Harold Taft Scholarship.
