Thomas transitioned to investigative reporting in June 2023, after serving FOX 12 Oregon as a general assignment reporter for a year. In the summer of 2023, he helped with the launch of the new FOX 12 Investigates team. His reporting at FOX 12 once took him out of state to California for in-depth coverage on programs the City of Portland is embracing to tackle the drug and homeless crisis.
Most recently, Thomas worked as a Press Secretary of the U.S. House of Representatives in Fresno, California. He joined the FOX 12 team with broad experience in general assignment reporting and anchoring. In this capacity, he worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor for KSEE24 & CBS47 in Fresno, California. Before Fresno, he was in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he worked as an anchor, producer, and multimedia journalist for KREX 5/FOX 4.
