There, she also produced and profiled local teachers across North Texas, including generating special education features.
Before her time in Dallas, Salinas was an anchor and lead nightside breaking news reporter for WPBF 25 News in West Palm Beach, Florida. There, she provided coverage for many hurricanes with wall-to-wall coverage, including non-stop live shots from the field.
Salinas worked as the 5 and 6 p.m. weekend anchor and general assignment reporter for KOAT in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There, she did special reports and medical stories with an emphasis on newborns, children, and teen issues. She served TXCN as a freelance news anchor. Moreover, she hosted and co-produced “La Vida,” a weekly hour Hispanic Affairs show at WFAA.
Salinas was a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor for KCEN in Waco, Texas. Before Waco, she worked as a news anchor and reporter at KTVT in Laredo, Texas.
