Following her time in Eau Claire, Albers worked for WXOW News 19, the ABC affiliate in La Crosse. There, she anchored and was the executive producer of MidDay, a 60-minute-long midday newscast. Moreover, she was the breaking news desk anchor for the station’s COVID-19 coverage.
