She mostly served as an overnight associate producer while there, creating several scripts for producers and rolling teleprompters in the anchors’ reading areas.
Ashley ascended the news ladder in 2014, this time as a producer while remaining in the background. She created the two-and-a-half-hour morning program for Columbus, Georgia’s WTVM News. After some time there, Ashley was given the responsibility of training new producers and staff members at the station who wished to advance to the position of producer.
Ashley ascended the news ladder once more in 2016. In Columbus, Georgia, at WRBL News, she landed her first official on-air position. As the morning “one-man band” reporter, Ashley first began out. In other words, Ashley came up with the tales, filmed the videos for them, edited the videos, put the videos on the web and social media, etc. Ashley had to write at least two stories a day. Ashley may successfully complete four tales in this position in a single day.
