Katie Kaplan is an American in the journalism field who works for WCTV as an anchor for the WCTV Eyewitness News at 4 p.m. and a special assignment reporter. Before joining the station in September 2018, he worked as a weekend anchor for MMJKESQ, CBS Local 2, KUNA and an evening news anchor at KFBB in Great Falls, Mt. Katie interned at Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles, where she was a published reporter.
Abby Walton is an American in the journalism field who works for WCTV as a reporter and anchor at 5:30 and 11 p.m. She also anchors FOX 49 News at 10. Abby worked at the Terre Haute, Indiana, CBS/FOX affiliate WTHI for six years before joining WCTV in June of 2014. She served as the anchor of the region’s most popular morning and lunchtime shows. She reported and produced the noon show as well.
Julie Montanaro is an American in the journalism field who works for WCTV as an award-winning journalist and anchors the weekday news programs Eyewitness News at 5 and Eyewitness News at 6 on WCTV. She previously served on the board of the Florida Associated Press and has earned multiple AP Awards, including the prestigious “Individual Achievement Award” three times.
Marisa Silvas is an American in the journalism field who works for WJFW as a news coach and consultant. At WJFW in Rhinelander, Marisa began her career in radio, and she stayed there a second time since she liked it so much. Over the course of her six years at Newswatch 12, she served as a sports anchor, morning anchor, and assistant news director. She will always have a particular place in her heart for the Northwoods.
