She started working with the WBRC in February 2018. At Albany, Georgia’s WALB News 10, a sister station, Catherine’s journalism career got its start.
She worked as a multimedia journalist, reporter for the morning show, and daily and weekend anchor for the nightly newscasts throughout the three years she covered south Georgia. In addition, Catherine oversaw the station’s Thomasville Bureau, which is situated an hour south of Albany.
She acknowledges the FOX 5 Atlanta News Team for helping her solidify her decision to pursue a career in journalism and is appreciative of the priceless experience she got while interning at WAGA-TV in Atlanta.
She worked as a multimedia journalist for Grady Newsource, a regional news program for northeast Georgia, and was a Grady College of Journalism ambassador for UGA.
Catherine is excited to join the WBRC team and see everything that Birmingham’s Magic City has to offer as a native Atlantan. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and being a self-described foodie. She also loves animals and music.
