George works as a news anchor at KSNT 27 News, In June 2020, he changed his role from broadcast meteorologist to news anchor. He began his career in 1983 at KWTX-TV in Waco, Texas while still in his senior year at Baylor University. After earning his degree, he stayed another 4 years before making a stop at KOTV-TV in Tulsa, Okla.
During his time in Tulsa, David had the opportunity to do research with the University of Oklahoma meteorologists and finish his Doppler training at the National Severe Storms Laboratory. David moved to WMTV-TV in Madison, Wisconsin, in the late 1990s to take the position of chief meteorologist.
He spent 15 years at that station and undoubtedly had an effect on communities around Southern Wisconsin with extensive engagement in public speaking, community activities, school lectures, and non-profit work. A Certified Broadcast Meteorologist, David.
