Jetton works as a contributor and fill-in host for Arizona Midday, a lifestyle show on KPNX 12 News. She hosted the show for 16 years before stepping down to delve into other passions. She is no stranger to the station, as she worked here as an intern while in college.
On Arizona Midday, Jetton has cooked with some of the region’s elite chefs, shared awesome crafts, and brought the viewers expert insight on topics like home décor and business. She has also featured celebrities such as Jessica Lange and Mark Wahlberg. In 2015, she and her Midday team covered Super Bowl XLIX from Super Bowl Central in Downtown Phoenix.
Jetton’s first job out of college was at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri, where she was the 10 p.m. anchor. There, she covered everything from education stories, record-breaking snowstorms, to chasing an ostrich on the loose! Following her time in Missouri, she moved to Waco, Texas, where she broadcast the presidential race, tornadoes, the Branch Davidian Compound disaster, and other major stories in the region.
Before returning to Phoenix station, Jetton worked as the morning show anchor at KGUN in Tucson. While in Tucson, Jetton reported on the University of Arizona shooting, the terrorist attacks on September 11th, and various wildfires.
