Devin relocated from central Illinois to northern Wisconsin. He has had a good time throughout his stay in these forests. Devin had to acclimate to a variety of things, including the abundance of trees, the bugs, and Wisconsin’s notoriously harsh winters. Although forecasting up here can be difficult, it keeps his job interesting because conditions change rapidly. When he served as an intern for another NBC affiliate, WAND-TV 17, in Decatur, Illinois, in the summer of 2015, he gained his first exposure to live TV broadcasting.
When NEWS3, the school TV station, hired Devin to be the weather anchor from January 2016 until his graduation, Devin’s experience expanded. Devin also produced forecasts for Tri-States Public Radio throughout his time in college. Devin considers himself to be the biggest Leatherneck supporter. You can count on Devin to support his alma mater on game days, particularly in basketball and football. He supports the Chicago Blackhawks, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and Wisconsin Badgers as a devoted sports fan.
