Before joining the station, she worked at KIFI News Group in Idaho Falls as an anchor and reporter. At the time, she also worked as a freelance associate producer for NBC Sports at Wimbledon in 2007. The opportunity marks her first breakthrough in her career. During her time there, she worked on four Olympic Games: Beijing, Vancouver, London, and Sochi. The experience led to her earning two National Emmy Awards for Olympic coverage. She also worked as a production associate for ABC News in New York.
The award-winning anchor has covered a variety of topics spanning from backstage interviews at The Today Show, red carpets, to major breaking news. She was among the first reporters to appear on the Yarnell Fire scene, covered the Gilbert Goons investigation, the Wallow Fire, and the current debates over education funding. Throughout her career, she has won seven Emmy Awards, which consist of five Rocky Mountain Emmys for her service on the morning show.
