After 5 years in Rockford, Leake moved to Lexington, Kentucky. There, he served WLEX 18 News as an anchor and multimedia journalist. Additionally, he specialized in feature reporting, shedding light on community interest stories across the Bluegrass State. In this capacity, he served as the lead feature reporter for the 150th Kentucky Derby.
