Holmes works for KTVU FOX 2 as an anchor for The 4 and The News at 7:30. During her time at the station, she has broadcasted some of the most notable stories in the region and managed news-making interviews. Also, she anchored breaking news of the fatal Asiana plane crash at San Francisco International Airport, the ruinous California wildfires, and the 2010 San Bruno pipeline explosion. In addition, she helped the region celebrate the San Francisco Giants World Series Championships and broadcast the winning parades in 2010, 2012, and 2014.
She has won awards for reports like exposing an embezzlement scandal involving a San Francisco police officer that eventually led to criminal charges. She trained with San Francisco firefighters to get firsthand job experience, flew with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and raced up the Salesforce Tower with law enforcement for charity.
Before arriving in the Bay region, she worked in New York as an anchor and reporter at WPIX and WCBS. She also spent multiple years working at News 12 Long Island as an anchor. Her TV broadcasting career started when she worked at KLBK in Lubbock, Texas.
