Jakob co-hosted a weekly sports discussion program and provided live play-by-play coverage of Baylor basketball and football games over the radio.
He had the opportunity to work as a summer intern at KXAN in Austin when he was a student at Baylor. He also worked as a CBS Sports intern for a semester in New York City, covering events including the Big Ten Tournament and Final Four.
