His career began in Chattanooga Tennessee at WTVC where he worked as a fill-in anchor and reporter. There, the Tennessee Associated Press nominated him as the Best TV News Reporter in 2017. He worked there for 2and a half years before moving to West Palm Beach where he served WPEC as a multimedia journalist. During his time at WPEC, he won an Emmy nomination for broadcasting the aftereffects of Hurricane Dorian hitting the Bahamas.
