While at CBS News, Yuccas has broadcasted prominent stories like the 2016 presidential campaign, Orlando’s Pulse, nightclub shooting, and the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics.
Before KCAL, Yuccas worked for WCCO in Minneapolis as a general assignment reporter and morning anchor. Also, she worked as a contributor to “CBS Evening News” and “CBS Mornings.” As a contributor, she filed breaking news stories in the Midwest like the Minnesota state government shutdown, winter weather, and flooding all over the area. During her time in Minneapolis, she received two Emmys one for the broadcast of Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
From 2004 to 2011, Yuccas worked in Fort Myers, Florida at WBBH as a reporter, anchor, and producer. For a feature story of a U.S. marshals operation, she earned a Florida Associated Press award. Her career started in 2003 when she worked for KTTC in Rochester, Minnesota.
