He also worked as a general assignment reporter covering justice and crime stories. Moreover, he worked on the 5, 6, 9, and 10 p.m. newscast, and an Emmy Award-winning newscast.
Before joining WHBQ FOX13, Pierre worked at KNOE-TV8 in Monroe, Louisiana, as a multimedia journalist. He was also a live morning reporter, and he covered and produced stories across East Carroll, West Carroll, Morehouse, Ouachita, Union, and Lincoln Parishes.
Pierre has always been passionate about sharing fair, accurate, and balanced stories. He particularly loves to share stories from the communities he serves. He is an active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and the National Association of Black Journalists.
Pierre works as an advocate for NABJÕs high school journalism program. Moreover, he was named NABJ Region V student journalist of the year, and he was the first to receive the Ted Holtzclaw Journalism Excellence Award in the NABJ multimedia short course in 2013.
