She began her career as a reporter, anchor, and producer at WMDT in Salisbury, Maryland. She also worked as a freelancer for MTVU and interned for WJLA ABC 7 News, CBS News, Fox News Channel, WHUR 96.3FM, and Fox News.
For the high school newspaper, The Tiger Tales, she had her first actual experience in news reporting. In college, she began to work in radio and television. She attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., and she still feels as though this was one of her greatest choices.
She received the White House Correspondents’ Association Scholarship in her junior year. Jobina received the honor from President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. It was the pinnacle of her undergraduate experience.
She relocated from Washington, D.C. to the eastern shore of Maryland after receiving her degree in order to work for WMDT-TV. Jobina covered topics including NASCAR, crabbing, and poultry farming. She went above and above, and it was a wonderful experience. Jobina worked as a reporter, anchor, producer, and photographer, and on one occasion, when someone wasn’t there, she even filled in as floor director.
She lived in Maryland for slightly under two years before going to Louisville, Kentucky to work for WAVE-TV. She has since developed a passion for the Kentucky Derby, spicy food, and the wonderful people of the Bluegrass state.
Before relocating to the Bay Area, Sarah spent two years reporting and anchoring in Louisville! She relocated here out of love and has since grown to like this location.
