Karp works as a sports reporter at FOX 35 Orlando. Before his tenure in Orlando, he was the sports director at FOX61/CW20 in Hartford, Connecticut. There, he spearheaded the station’s on-site broadcast of UConn Men’s Basketball clinching back-to-back NCAA Championships.
While in the Nutmeg state, Karp earned 5 Emmy Award nominations, of which he won two “Outstanding Sports Reporter” in the Boston/New England region in 2024 and 2025. In 2024, he was a finalist for the NSMA “Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year” Award.
Karp launched his professional career at FOX 54 in Huntsville, Alabama, where he was a sports anchor and reporter. He also hosted Sports Xtra Sundays at 10 p.m. and “First Down Friday Night” on Fridays at 10 p.m. during football season.
