On September 13, 2025, Solomon got into an accident, leading to the death of William Scanlan, a 36-year-old motorcycle rider. Police department reports that she collided with the motorcycle’s front tire while she was making a U-turn to turn westbound on Central Avenue near Lindsay Street in Midtown. At the time, William was traveling eastbound on Central.

William was in critical condition and was rushed to the hospital, where he was later confirmed dead. On the other hand, she was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition. Further, she was booked into jail Tuesday on a warrant. She is charged with misdemeanor charges of Failure to Yield Right of Way resulting in Death, Failure to Exercise Due Care, and Making a U-Turn on a Curve or Hill.
