In this role, he oversees FOX 5’s sports broadcast, including the Raiders, UNLV, Golden Knights, A’s, Aces, and the other big sporting events around town. He launched his broadcasting career in 1993 after completing his undergraduate studies. He has also worked in Monterey, Yakima, and Boise, Idaho.
During his career, Bolinger has provided coverage for almost every major sporting event, including the World Series, Super Bowls, the Olympics, and NASCAR. Also, he has seen and covered the growth of sports in Southern Nevada to where it is today, an NFL, NHL, and MLB town. In addition to his coverage, he has received honors for his work, including seven Emmy Awards. The National Sports Media Association has voted him the Nevada Sportscaster of the Year three time. In 2016, he joined the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
