She made her television acting debut as a guy. Sze was a walk-on performer on the set as she grew up. After her family emigrated to the United States and resided in the Bay Area on the Peninsula, she began her career in journalism.
Sze started writing for the school newspaper in high school to hone her English writing abilities. She recognized she had a perfect opportunity to interact with individuals, get information, and pose questions.

Sze was honored with an Emmy in 1999 for best children’s/youth segment. She received an Emmy Award in 2002 for her work as the host of “Profiles Of Excellence” on KGO-TV. Additionally, the San Francisco BayList magazine selected her as “Best News Anchor” in 2011.
