She became interested in reporting news and telling stories in high school. She was in charge of the morning announcements, where she discovered her passion for informing her classmates about current events, important information, and the accomplishments of other students.
From that point, she went to Florida Bay Coast College in Stronghold Myers, FL where she was a piece of Zeta Tau Alpha Crew. Lauren graduated with a four-year college education in Newscasting and a minor in French. She also went to Paris to study abroad and traveled around Europe while there.
Lauren worked as a weekend anchor and news reporter for KFXL FOX Nebraska and NTV News in central Nebraska prior to joining FOX 17 News. She became interested in Nebraska football and began to enjoy telling stories about agriculture there.
