Scafidi has worked as a weekend morning anchor for KUSA 9 News since she was promoted in December 2024. Before that role, she served the station as a TV news reporter. She launched her journalism career at Northern Michigan’s news leader, 9&10 News. There, she started as a reporter in 2017 and helped launch a new lifestyle show in 2018. She then worked her way up to the anchor desk later that year.

During her time in Michigan, Scafidi won awards from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters for Best Anchor, Best Reporter, and Best Feature story. Besides anchoring 9&10 News, she had a weekly segment, Inside The Kitchen, that highlighted the people and dishes behind the region’s most successful restaurants.

Scafidi began a weekly podcast, We’re Offscript, which featured interviews with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, four-time Stanley Cup champion Darren McCarty, Good Morning America’s Ginger Zee, and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, among others. Passionate about serving the community, she has worked on executive boards and volunteered for Make-A-Wish, March of Dimes, and D.A.R.E.
