While at CLTV, she worked as a weekend news anchor and host of “Metromix: The TV Show,” an award-winning entertainment show. The show won her a local Emmy and a couple of nominations for Best On Camera Performance.
Prior to working at CLTV, Trotter served as the news and public affairs director at WUSN-FM. There, she reported news on the morning show and hosted a weekly public affairs show, “Chicago Up Close.” Also, she briefly served Fox News and WGN Radio. She kick-started her career at WBBM Newsradio 780. There, she wore many hats, from production manager to traffic reporter.
