Kamanā works as a noon anchor and reporter for Good Day Oregon on KPTV, Monday through Friday. She decided to swap her surfboard for an opportunity to explore the Pacific Northwest. Before moving to Portland, she worked in Honolulu, Hawaii, at KITV4 Island News for 3 years.
While in Hawaii, Kamanā worked as the morning anchor and executive producer for ‘Good Morning Hawai’i.’ She started her career there as a weekend anchor and reporter before joining the Good Morning Hawaii experiencesteam. Also, she worked as a reporter and anchor in Flint, Amarillo, Rock Springs, Phoenix, and Jerusalem, Israel. She loves her journalism career because she meets people and experience places that one wouldn’t ordinarily get the chance to. She still maintains the friendships she has made along her journey.
