Liz Strzepa Career
Strzepa works as NBC5’s lead evening anchor. In this role, she anchors at 5, 6, 10, and 11 p.m. on NBC5 and the Valley CW. Also, she is a contributing host of NBC5’s In Depth, which airs on Sunday mornings.
Strzepa has over a decade of experience working as a reporter in Vermont and Northern New York. In this capacity, she has worked out of all of NBC5’s viewing regions. She started in the Upper Valley, where she broadcast stories that affected both the Green Mountain State and the Granite State. She was then promoted to the Plattsburgh bureau office, where she worked as the station’s sole New York reporter just six months later. After spending several years in New York, she is now working out of the South Burlington studio.
Since joining the NBC5 team, Strzepa has reported on multiple events, such as the nationally broadcast coverage of the Clinton Correctional Facility prison break in Dannemora and the 2019 quintuple murder trial of Steven Bourgoin.
