There, he covered the effects of the pandemic and played a key role in the station’s political reporting.
Some of his favourite stories during his career include the resilience of a 3-year-old girl from Moline triumphing over several heart surgeries, and the Mount Prospect residents’ unity to support Al’s Shoe Repair amid pandemic challenges. Outside of work, he goes out of his way to make a difference in the community. For instance, in 2022, he represented ABC 7 alongside Chicago celebrities to raise over $270,000 for breast cancer awareness and research.
