She illegally issues government details to the media about Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections through an email operation. Taylor alongside his other FBI agents goes to her home in Augusta, Georgia to question her about her supposed role in leaking the classified information.
The audience will experience firsthand the great pressure and stress Winner experienced during the interrogation and the events that caused her to leak the report. Based on true events, the film’s dialogues come directly from FBI transcripts. Davis stars alongside her fellow actors counting Sydney Sweeney and Josh Hamilton.
