Mike Mibach is an American in the journalism field working for KTVU FOX 2 as a co-anchor of the weeknight newscasts at 5, 6, 10, and 11 p.m. alongside Julie Haener since May 2022. Before that role, he served the station as a morning co-anchor. He joined the station in March 2005 as a general assignment reporter.

He has three siblings as revealed by his Facebook post on March 9, 2023; “…I have three siblings, spread around and love them all…” His brother celebrates his birthday every March 9th as revealed by that same post where he wished him a happy birthday. Mibach has worked for KTVU FOX 2 as a co-anchor of the weeknight newscasts at 5, 6, 10, and 11 p.m. alongside Julie Haener since May 2022. Before that role, he served the station as a morning co-anchor. He first worked as a general assignment reporter when he joined the station. Also, he anchored “KTVU Fox 2 News at Noon,” and “KTVU News at 4 p.m.” and has been a news reporter.
During his career, at FOX 2, he broadcasted the legalization of same-sex marriage in California, was on the ground covering many of the biggest wildfires across the state, and anchored the station’s breaking broadcast of the 2014 Napa earthquake.
Mibach has reported each of the three recent championship runs for the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors. He secured his breakthrough in the news industry in August 2000 when WIBW in Topeka, Kansas hired him. Next, he relocated to Tucson where he served KVOA before returning to the Bay region in 2005.
