Warren works as the evening anchor and FOX 7 Care Force reporter for KTBC FOX 7 Austin. In this role, he is on the anchor desk on weekdays at 5, 6, 9, and 10 p.m. Hailing from a family with a long military tradition, he believes that one of his primary callings is being devoted to the United States Military and Veterans. In this capacity, he leads the FOX 7 Care Force, the station’s effort to help veterans and active duty military in their transitions back to civilian life. In 2013, he received the media award from the Texas Veterans Commission in recognition of his ongoing effort to help Texas veterans.
Warren launched his broadcasting career in college radio. After finishing his undergraduate studies, he spent a year in Europe and worked in financial sales in San Francisco. He returned to the broadcasting business as a reporter for KRNV in Reno and KMST in Monterey. He landed his first anchor job at KTUL in Tulsa, where he did mornings. Warren then relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, as a reporter and anchor at KTVK.
