Zak Dahlheimer is an American in the journalism field who works for WTKR as an award-winning anchor and reporter. He anchors every weekend evening for WTKR and WGNT and reports during the week. He’s also a part of the News 3 Investigates Team. Before joining the station in March 2020, he worked as a reporter for WNCN.
Pari Cruz is a Hispanic American in the journalism field who works for WTKR as an anchor on weekday evenings for the 4 p.m., 7 p.m., and 10 p.m. newscasts. Cruz began working for WTKR News 3 in March 2022. Prior to that, Pari worked as a bilingual anchor and reporter in English for CBS 58, and in Spanish for Telemundo Wisconsin.
Kurt Williams is an African American in the journalism field who works for WTKR as an anchor and reporter every 4, 6, 10 and 11 pm. He has simultaneously worked for WDEF-TV as a producer, editor, reporter, prompter operator, and weekend anchor. Additionally, he had positions at Cable DeKalb, an Atlanta community affairs channel, as well as the nearby radio station WREG.
Barbara Ciara is an African American in the journalism field who works for WTKR as an award-winning anchor every weekday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on News 3. Before joining the station in July 2000, Ciara worked as a president for the UNITY, Journalists of Color.
Kristy Steward is an African American in the meteorology field who works for WTKR as News 3’s weekend evening meteorologist. Additionally, she will be on WGNT on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 10 p.m. In May 2021, she joined the First Warning Storm crew. Kristy worked as the morning and noon meteorologist at WNKY in Bowling Green, Kentucky, before relocating to Hampton Roads.
April Loveland is an American in the meteorology field who works for WTKR as a weather reporter for the First Warning Storm Team. She was a reporter and morning meteorologist at WAGM-TV in Presque Isle, Maine, before she joined the News 3 staff in May 2016.
