After her divorce, Storms was in a relationship with John Janssen from 2020 to 2023. They had an on-and-off relationship in the summer of 2019, broke up in late 2022, and got back together in early 2023. They broke up after she was arrested for DUI in September 2023.

She pleaded no contest and was sentenced to nine months of alcohol school, forty hours of three years of community service, and three years of probation. While still on probation for the DUI, Storms was pulled over in Orange County for using a handheld phone while driving in May 2024, an offense one can be fined. Her probation is set to continue until November 1, 2026.
