Her passion for writing and athletics dates back to her early years because she is the only child of a high school football coach and an English teacher.
She participated in practically every sport while growing up in the Chicago suburbs. When she wasn’t playing, you might catch her rooting for her father’s football club or the Chicago Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, or Bulls. She started her broadcasting career as the weekend sports anchor at KCWY-TV in Casper, Wyoming, after earning her degree from Indiana University in 2010.
Tori returned to the Midwest after two years and settled in Toledo, Ohio. She had the chance to anchor sports weekdays at WZVN-TV in Fort Myers, Florida after a year of covering weekends at WNWO-TV. A few years later, she made her way to Upstate New York.
She changed her weekend anchor duties at WSTM/WTVH-TV in Syracuse from sports to news after experiencing a setback in life. She discovered more about herself and the world outside of the football field over those two years than she could have ever dreamed, and she came to the conclusion that the news is where she belongs.
