Despite calling Texas home, she enjoys moving around, and her job has sent her all across the country. Lauren interviewed Razorback players, coaches, and sideline reporters while working as the sports director, reporter, and anchor for UATV News.
WQAD News 8 in Moline, Illinois, was the first news organization Lauren worked for. Lauren covered Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois for two years, doing weekdays, weekends, weeknights, and morning shows.
She gained expertise as a multimedia journalist as well. Lauren is appreciative of the priceless chances and experiences she had while working as a reporter for WQAD News 8 in Moline. She is thrilled to be a part of the WBRC team and to share stories that are significant to Birmingham.
Lauren enjoys spending her free time with her Standard Poodle, Millie, exploring new running routes, putting her green thumb to the test on new house plants, and adding to her record collection. She enjoys listening to music from the 1970s and 1980s and is constantly seeking new music.
