Kendra’s first position was as the weekend meteorologist at KFSM-TV in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where she held it for two years. She encountered many types of harsh weather and cold conditions there.
Kendra trained as a HAM radio operator while she was living in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Kendra joined FOX Carolina in June 2008, where she uses her knowledge to keep viewers in western Carolina safe and informed during severe weather. Animals are another one of Kendra’s loves! Kent hand-picks a pet to be featured in her weekly program, FOX’s Four Legged Friends, which airs on FOX Carolina News at 10 on Thursday nights and online here.
