She covered a broad range of topics when she was on the southern Oregon coast, from breaking news to a touching organ transplant from estranged high school classmates. In Las Vegas, she worked as an intern at KLAS, 8 News Now. She is dedicated to telling viewers’ tales with original perspectives and captivating camera angles.
As a method to combine her passion for photography with keeping up with the news, she started working in journalism while still in high school. In addition to coming up with stories for the newscast, Amanda likes to line dance, do the two-step, take pictures, support the ASU Sun Devils and Vegas Golden Knights, and hang out with her friends and family.
