Lee works for KCAL CBS Los Angeles as a reporter and meteorologist. She arrived in Los Angeles after working in Albuquerque, New Mexico at KOAT as a reporter and fill-in meteorologist for 3 years. In 2011, the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau recognized her as “Reporter of the Year” for her broadcast of one of the most destructive droughts in state history. Her reports gained the attention of many ranchers who purchased insurance through the government and were then declined claims.
Before working in Albuquerque, Lee worked in San Luis Obispo at KSBY as a weekend weather anchor and reporter. Her career started when she served KCBY in Coos Bay, Oregon as an anchor and reporter. In 2019, she won a ‘Golden Mike’ from the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California for “Best Weather Segment.”
