Dionne works for WBRC FOX6 as an award-winning weekend evening anchor and nightside reporter. After working as a reporter and anchor for First Coast News in Jacksonville, Florida, Brittany joined the WBRC FOX6 News staff in February 2019.
Brittany reported from the “Sunshine State” on the terrorist assault at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Hurricanes Michael and Irma, and the disappearance of the El Faro cargo ship, which sank after sailing into Hurricane Joaquin and claimed the lives of 33 sailors.
Brittany also contributed to the reporting that helped the news team in Jacksonville win the renowned Regional Edward R. Murrow Award for its coverage of Hurricane Matthew. Her services also helped numerous team members who covered the deadly shooting at Pulse nightclub win Emmy awards.
At the ABC/FOX station WTVM News Leader 9 in Columbus, Georgia, Brittany started her journalism career. Brittany worked as a primary legal reporter and stand-in anchor while in Columbus. She covered Fort Benning as well, spending endless hours capturing daily life for our country’s troops there.
