She also works as an anchor for the 11 a.m. newscast on FOX6 Now on WBRC. She worked for WVUA 23 as an anchor before joining the station in October 2011.
Clare also develops and hosts a weekday news program that is only available through Livestream. She worked as an anchor and reporter for Good Day Alabama for ten years, covering everything from breaking news to funny and interesting topics.
“Snowmageddon,” the aftermath of the tornadoes in April 2011, and the COVID pandemic are just a few of the major issues she covered while working at WBRC.
While a student at the University of Alabama, she started her television career. She agreed to work full-time for WVUA-TV after graduation. Clare liked serving the West Alabama community, but when the ideal opportunity at WBRC presented itself, she was pleased to come “home” to Birmingham.
Clare enjoys jogging, volunteering, and vacationing in her free time. Her most notable personal achievement to date is running a marathon every month from August 2020 to August 2021.
The Hope for Autumn Foundation, which raises money and awareness for families with children suffering from cancer, has Clare on its board of directors. Clare works with her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, as a national volunteer.
