The Debut: Dream Academy followed Avanzini and 19 others who were chosen among the over 120,000 young women globally, with auditions held across South Korea, the United States, Japan, and the United Kingdom in 2022. The 20 women underwent rigorous training under seasoned coaches and producers. The 20 contestants competed for one of the 6 spots in the HYBE x Geffen US-based girl group, KATSEYE.
Over 12 weeks, Avanzini alongside 19 others participated in three singing and dancing missions where she performed “Pink Venom” by BLACKPINK, “Fearless” by LE SSERAFIM, and “Buttons” by the Pussycat Dolls. During the live finale event in Los Angeles, Avanzini was announced as one of the final six members who make up the official group, KATSEYE.
