His experience in sports took him back to St. Louis, his hometown, where he broadcast the `The greatest show on Turf, during the Rams’ Super Bowl seasons.
Evans worked in Las Vegas, where he covered boxing championship fights, as well as more than 50 UFCs. He has also worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars as a host, reporter. Furthermore, he worked as a play-by-play announcer for college football, basketball, and the Ultimate Warrior fighting championships.
Throughout his career, Evans has been nominated for multiple regional Emmy awards and has also been rewarded twice by the Review-Journal as the “Best Sports Anchor” in Las Vegas. Moreover, he was honored as one of the 100 most influential African Americans in Kansas City.
