Dan quit his job in corporate after over 20 years in banking to concentrate on designing with her under the brand The Vogel Victorian. By night, I play dress up, conjure up magic potions in my American horror stories inspired kitchen, host haunted tea parties and partake in all things paranormal, horror and true crime. I’ve been with my husband for 32 years, He’s not only my partner in life, but he’s my business partner as well. I literally could not make my dreams come true without his support and encouragement!

It follows Shaw and 5 other designers as they take up residence in Bihl Manor, one of America’s most infamous haunted homes. They compete to transform it into a dream property, with the winner standing a chance to win the competition and claim the $50,000 grand prize.
Vogel has been looking forward to a project like Bihl Manor. She lives in a 128-year-old Victorian home, and she is at ease among elaborate details, old houses, and a little supernatural plot. With a background in teaching, psychotherapy, and historic preservation, she has a unique stance when it comes to designing. Ghosty at heart, she feels Bihl Manor’s haunted history is more of an opportunity than a problem. She’s here to win and aims to design spaces that feel like the inside of a glamorous coffin.
