She is a native of Fort Lauderdale and was quiet and reserved as a child. However, Florida A&M University helped her find her voice, and she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Graphic Design.
Jaclyn started her career as a multimedia journalist in 2019 at KAAL TV (ABC 6 News) in Rochester, Minnesota, where she covered the 2020 elections, extreme weather, and crimes. She went back to her home state of Florida in 2022 and started working as a bureau reporter and a morning anchor/segment host at Thomasville WCTV Eyewitness News in Tallahassee.
She developed her expertise in covering breaking news, criminal activity, court cases, and politics there, but ultimately realized that her true interest is in relaying the tales of regular people.
