She started her TV career two weeks after graduating college. Further, she took up a reporter position in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Michigan Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Indiana Broadcasters Association, Indiana Associated Press, and Society of Professional Journalists have recognized her work.
She has worked alongside various community organizations such as March of Dimes, 70×7 Life Recovery, and Make-A-Wish Michigan. On a side note, she serves on the board of a nonprofit devoted to aiding children with special needs, Lori’s Voice.
